My Thoughts Exactly Inspiration Friday!

Hi Everyone! Today is My Thoughts Exactly Inspiration Friday! I am in the middle of getting ready for an early 4th of July Party at our house and I'm super busy cleaning and decorating. What are your plans for the 4th? Are you celebrating this weekend too? Our neighbors have a HUGE firework show the Saturday before the 4th every year so this year we decided to have a party on the same day so we can all enjoy the firework display together.

The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. I think it's because there is no stress with gifts just pure fun with friends and family. The hardest part is seeing my little Kalani freak out from the loud fireworks. Poor puppy girl! She gets scared to death. But at least it is only 1 day out of the year. Well around my house 1 week out of the year. Ha!

Ok enough of my blabbing I wanted to share a simple yet fun and different Hidden Slider card I made using 2 different  MTE sets. Just pull the tab to reveal the little beautiful friend sentiment that I made with the awesome Mother's Day Subway Art set!

Thanks Grandma (hidden slider SVG)

I made this little hidden slider card for my grandma to thank her for the trip she gave us that she won! 

We finally got to go to Winthrop, WA last month and had such a fantastic time! 

I used My Thoughts Exactly Mother Day Subway art set, Many Thanks set, Interactive card phrases set and Big Thoughts set.

MTC- SVG's by Bee Challenge

Finally a tent card! 

I have wanted to make a tent card for probably over a year now! I finally got the push when I saw Bee's Hive O Drama Tent Card Challenge today! The challenge lasts until the 10th! Bee has graciously offered up her darling tent card SVG for FREE until the end of the challenge.

On a side note. Today marks a week of juicing veggies again and cutting out wheat products. Let me tell you I feel so much better like a real person again. I suffer from chronic neck, shoulder and back pain with horrendous neck and tongue swelling. I want to share this with you because I have suffered for so long I will do almost anything to feel like a normal person. But more importantly because if any one of you suffers from similar symptoms or know anyone who does I hope to reach you. I have juiced veggies on and off for almost 4 years now. I don't know why I stop because it's the only time I ever have pain and swelling relief. If you feel like you have chronic swelling or pain I recommend trying the juicing. And possibly try eliminating certain foods especially if you have the swelling in the neck and throat. You just might find that you are actually allergic to a certain food. My juice contains beets, blueberries, carrots and spinach. You can find books and online information on different juices. I have found this specific juice works the best for ME. I like it because it is mainly veggies so it is lower in calories and sugars than the fruit juicing plus it fills me up more than the fruit. And in case you are wondering what juicer I use I love the Jack Lalanne juicer because it is easy for cleanup plus it has a large mouth so I don't have to cut everything up really small. Just throw it in and juice away. I bought mine at Costco for under $90.00.

I absolutely love Valentines day paper, but I find that I use it all year for other occasions not just Vday.

My Thoughts Exactly June Challenge

Hi everyone! MTE is having their first challenge.

Here are the deets- 

The challenge will run from Sunday June 3rd until Sunday June 24th.

Winners will be announced Saturday June 30th.

The challenge:

Father's Day OR Mustaches

They are not required to do both, but of course if you do both that's good too.

Hi everyone! Today is My Thoughts Exactly Inspiration Friday! I used the darling Dainty Doilies collection for todays project. It is a little banded gate fold card. I hand cut everything and used a simple circle punch for the sentiment! Easy Peesy,  but fun and different! And yes I am obsessed with giant buttons lately.... Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
