Second Helpings?

Of some Jillibean Soup? I made this card using more of the adorable Jillibean Soup Blossom Soup 6"x6" stack from none other than the Pumpkin Spice Store.

I used the new Digi Stamp Cafe double layer cake stamp! LOVE this set! Also the card is a dollar SVG download from My Scrap Chick called "Curved Brackets Card" that I fancied up a little with the darling paper collection! :)

Did you see that Pumpkin Spice now carries The Twinery Twine? Take a look here! I used the color Lemondrop on my card! It's so yummy!!!!
Hope everyone is having fabulous weekend! Don't forget to check back Tuesday for the November release of My Thoughts Exactly! AND Next weekend is the start of the November Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop! Lots of inspiration coming!

Pumpkin Cutie

Have you seen the new digi stamps at Digi Stamp Cafe? Oh My Gosh they are so cute! I am just really starting to get into digi's.
I go back and forth. I like my "Real life" (yeah that's what I call them) stamps, but I am really liking how I can resize the digi stamps too! Plus the digi's are instant gratification and so so much more affordable! They both have their pro's and con's. I guess it will come down to needing every stamp in "Real Life" and in digi form! haha
Here is one of my more recent cards. I just love this Bella and Baxter set. The candies are tiny little candies from the Kitty Costume stamp in the Bella and Baxter set that I just cut out separately and added to the card. I also put some Glossy Accents to the top of the candies and the pumpkin bucket. I also used My Scrap Chicks Envelope Essentials SVG file. It made it super easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping bye today!

Jillibean Soup Anyone?

If you haven't seen the Jillibean Soup collection from the Pumpkin Spice Store yet you are missing out! For this card I used the Blossom Soup 6"x6" pad.  It is so cute and cheerful! And if you didn't know already.....I love bright and cheerful!!! I really love how this card turned out! It would be a great generic birthday card to have around for those last minute gifts!!!
The butterflies are even part of the paper that I just fussy cut. Aren't they cute?

One of my favorite things about this card is the embossing. I used a wood grain background stamp from A Muse Studio with some heavy crisp white card stock and white embossing powder. It really gave the card the pop it needed! I will be using this technique a lot in the future I love the way it looks and feels!  I have an obsession for the feel of cards too! Not just the look!

Thanks for stopping bye today!

Thank you!

Happy Monday!
I made this card a while ago, but I just haven't shared it! I used the Echo Park Country Drive Collection. I received this stamp before I left for Hawaii from my sweet crafting pal, Jan! I was practicing my Copic coloring when I was in Hawaii.

Here's a little tip! When I go on vacation I stamp out mulitple images and take a folder of them along with my Copics. This is a great way to stock up on colored images to have around when you get home! Then when you are back home you just pull from your stash!

I just love the bicycle and balloon! I sent this to my grandma for a thank you card from my birthday! She loved it!

As much as I adore Echo Park one thing I have noticed about EP paper is that it doesn't dry emboss very well! Every time I emboss with my nestabilities or embossing folders it cracks. I don't know what I am doing wrong? Anyone else have this problem? Just curious....

My Thoughts Exactly- Got Candy?

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share a little something I made using the new My Thoughts Exactly Halloween stamps! They are on sale right now so don't miss out! You can get both sets for $25! Check them out right here! The possibilities with these stamps are endless!
OK SOOOOOO I've wanted to make an acetate card for oh......probably a year, but never got around to it until I received the most beautiful card from my crafting soul sister for my birthday! Her card was so inspiring I finally had to give one a try!
I made the dispenser box before I left for Hawaii, but never got around to embellishing it until I got some inspiration from the new MTE stamps! Can you see the clear acetate tag? That was fun to make. I used embossing powder around the edge to frame it! I've been using white embossing powder on almost all of my projects this month. I highly recommend getting some if you don't already have any!
Are you ready for Halloween? Are you wearing a costume this year? What are you or your kiddos going to be?
Hope you have a great week!

It's Wicked!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Lately I have been trying to challenge myself with different papers than I would normally use. I got the Graphic 45 The Magic of Oz paper from Pumpkin Spice because 1. it's totally different from what I would normally choose, but 2. I have really good memories of the Wizard of OZ. This set is really cool because one side of the papers has a more Halloween feel, but the other side has a traditional Wizard of OZ. So basically the paper is great for Halloween, but could also be used all year round for other projects. I made two cards today using ONLY the 8x8 paper stack for embellishing. The stack has lots of mini cards and figures that you can fussy cut out to put on a project! Take a look at the two simple cards I made with the stack.

This card you can't really see in the picture, but it has some glitter and stickles added to the witch and the legs to give it that pop! It's really simple, yet with a little twist. It would be a great card to pop in the mail to someone because it is very flat. Well that's it for today! Hope everyone is having a great week!
My puppy, Kalani, turns 2 this week! It's hard for me to believe she is 2 already!

Treats and More Treats!

Today for my Pumpkin Spice project I wanted to make more quick and easy treats to have around the house for last minute gifts.
Pumpkin Spice just got the little baggies that you can stack single rows of MnM's and gumballs or whatever else your imagination can come up with! Here is the link! They are 1"x8"! Plus you can purchase them in smaller quantities instead of 1000! Makes more sense don't you think? I mean who really needs a 1000 mini bags?

These are super simple yet make a little treat extra special!

Products used-
Apothecary Collection from Pumpkin Spice
Spellbinders Nestabilites Circles and Scalloped Circles

SugarGem's Dispenser Box SVG

Finally as I promised my dispenser box SVG file is available! But I have a little surprise! Instead of just one style I have 2 styles for you! One short box and one tall box!  Hope you like them!

These are so easy to assemble! They are much larger than any other dispenser boxes on the market! I really wanted one that I could put large candies and enough candies for a classroom or office! These make a great gift for a friend, coworker or teacher!

You will receive 2 styles of the dispenser box. They are sized at the largest possible measurements to fit on a 12x12 mat, but you can always make them smaller if you want a medium or tiny box too! But now you can put a whole bag or even 2 whole bags of treats into the dispenser!

I made these boxes today and it took maybe 20 minutes to assemble both. I think waiting for the glue to dry was what took the longest! You can purchase the file in the left sidebar! I will email the file to you within 24hrs of receiving payment!

Fang-Tastic Blog Hop

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE PUMPKIN SPICE BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to SugarGem! Today we are having the Fangtastic blog hop with tons of inspiration and giveaways!  If you are here from Kim's blog you are in the right spot! If not and you would like to join in on the Fang-Tastic Blog hop please start at My Thoughts Exactly.

Today I made a little potion bottle treat holder. I have seen these in many different styles, but I took it to a new level and added my twist to the potion bottle holder! I really don't know exactly what this is or what to call it. It is a hybrid between a card, a coffin and maybe a confessional. You be the judge!

For this darling ghost by SVG's by BEE I busted out the glitter! Wow it has been too long since I used any and boy have I missed my glitter! Isn't he cute?

Pumpkin Spice October Blog Hop "Put a Spell on Me"

Hi everyone! Welcome to SugarGem and the October Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop! If you are here from Carrisa's blog you are in the right spot! Today I Feel like I'm going on a first date or job interview and have butterflies in my stomach!
Why am I so nervous you ask? Because today I am unveiling my first kit ever!  It's my October Featured Artist Kit for Pumpkin Spice! Eeeek
Plus today is my birthday so it makes it even more special!

I wish Halloween was 6 months long! I really do because I absolutely love everything to do with Halloween especially all the fabulous Halloween papers and embellishments! There is something extra special to me about Halloween! I think it goes way back to being a little girl and I got to dress like a princess once. Don't most little girls want to be a princess? I mean really why can't we dress like a princess every day? It is almost unfair really! But don't worry I didn't make a princess set, I did however put together some super easy, but fun cards and treat sets for Halloween of course!

So without further ado here is my October Pumpkin Spice Kit!

"Put a Spell on Me"

SugarGem's Pumpkin Spice October Kit
Halloween treat matchbooks
All the little characters on the matchbooks are stamps from Inkadinkado cling stamps that come in the kit! Aren't they darling?
