PumpkinSpice DT Matchbook Gift Card Holder- Free SVG
Hi everyone!
This card was in the SB.com card of the week challenge for July 10. I loved it so much I made it for my Pumpkin Spice Design Team project this week. I used Crate Papers Emmas Shoppe Collection which is one of my faves! The paper is divine! If you haven't seen it or felt it in person it is so luxurious! It almost has a soft linen texture.
After watching the video I knew I didn't have all the proper tools so YOU know what happened next! Because I didn't have the envelope pocket they use in the Youtube video I made one in SCAL just for us here and a free shape label. Likey??????
Itty Bitty Tip!-When assembling my pocket I recommend gluing the tabs to the outside of the paper so that the gift card tag will slide in and out easily! Plus I find rounding the corners of the tag help.
For the gift card I like to use Zip Dry glue. It works perfectly! You can find it at Pumpkin Spice right here!
Thanks everyone for stopping bye and taking the time to comment it means a lot to me! :)
Here is the Youtube tutorial on making this fun little card!
Secret little tip -If you do not have SCAL or a cutter to cut SVG's a little trick I learned is - download the free Inkscape program, download my file, print my file out onto Emmas Shoppe paper then cut by hand! Super Easy!
I am still working on the blog. I will probably change the layout again when I get back home and have more time because the whole "font in the margin" thing is really annoying me! lol I am open for any suggestions on free blog template sites too!
ENJOY!

Shutter Magic Card - Pumpkin Spice DT and FREE SVG
Aloha! We are still having a fabulous vacation! Before I left for Hawaii I just happened across this really awesome card on Youtube. Here.
You know I HAD to make one, but there was a huge problem friends! I couldn't find any directions! I mean absolutely NOTHING! I went on a mission to make this card. Through trial and error I finally got it and I must say it is another favorite in my card collection. I even made an SVG file for all of you to make this card too. Hope you like it!
What you will need-
Echo Park Country Drive collection from Pumpkin Spice
White cardstock for stamping
SugarGem's SVG file.
Stamps. I used A Muse Studio A Very Un-Merry Birthday collection
White embossing powder
Versamark embossing ink
Tuxedo Black Momento ink
Anti static pillow
Copics RV14, BG10, BG13, Y17, Y13
How to make SugarGem's Magic Card-
Cut out SVG file using Echo Park Country Drive.
Score card at 2" on each side.
Score circle window insert at .50" on each end.
Score shutter tabs at .50" on tab end.
Belly band- cut out the berry strip from the Country Drive collection then cut a strip of green at 2 1/8"x 12" It definitely doesn't need to be 12 " long, but it is just easier to cut it that long. If you are frugal and want to save some go ahead and trim some off extra.
Here is the tutorial for my Magic card!
Here are 3 pictures of what the pieces look like scored.
You can hardly see it in this picture, but I drew a light circle on the white 2.75" x 4.75" paper to make stamping my image easier. Then just erased the pencil lines.
Take your 2.75"x 4.75" piece and stamp your image.
I used embossing powder for the Birthday Wishes sentiment inside,
Color in image.
Glue stamped piece down. Make sure that your stamped image will show through the circle window piece properly before gluing in place.
Line up your circle window piece in the center of your card and glue tabs down. See both pictures below. Make sure all the circles are even.
The little shutters are tricky and you have play with them a little bit until they line up correctly. I recommend using re positional glue. If you look at mine closely you can see that the shutters don't get glued down exactly in the same spot on either side. One needs to be higher than the other. You want to make sure the shutter will completely close before you glue them down.
Once you have everything lined up, apply repositional glue to the tabs and shut the card.
Open card back up. This is what it will look like.
Tuck shutters under your circle window piece.
That's it! Now make sure everything is working properly and lined up! Hope you like this! Enjoy!
A little trick I learned too! If you do not have a cutting machine that cuts SVG's you can also download Inskape, download my SVG file, print out the file onto your Echo Park paper then hand cut. Easy Peasy!
This is a free gift from me to you! I spent a lot of time on this and hope you will give credit where credit is due if you use my file! That is all I ask I hope you enjoy! My fiiles are for personal use only and not to be sold. Thank you

Clean and Simple Style
Aloha!
When I am home I make a lot of cards that I never even share here because I just don't feel they are worthy of posting, but I just wanted show you a few I made using the A Muse Studio stamps. They are all CAS (clean and simple) style. I apologize in advance for the terrible pictures, but I really never thought I would share these! ha!
So here goes!
I used Snail & Co on this!
This one is NOT my idea! I totally copied this from someone, but now I don't remember who it was! What a dork I am huh? I think I got this one from Kari Kards! But I couldn't find it on her blog so if you know who it is let me know and I will make sure to give credit!
I used Polka Dot Patterns and one of my FAVES Tool-rific! The Tool-rific is SO fun and perfect for doing man cards!
This is not A Muse Studio I think it is a Fine and Dandy set? But either way I like the CAS aspect so I thought I would add it! :)
Thanks for stopping bye and thank you everyone for your comments yesterday! Mahalo~

Some Not So Happy News
Aloha Everyone!
Today I have some sad news to share with you. Sharon at RSMobley Designs has decided to stop selling her files. She has let all of the DT members go. I want to send out a big thank you to her and my team members. Sharon was my first design team and I am so grateful for her giving me a chance!
Everything is ok with her, but after a lot of changes going on in the crafting world she has decided that she wants to have more time for her personal crafting and time with her family and new grand baby. Many of you that don't make SVG's or cutting files might not know how many hours we put into each design and that it can take up most of your life! I completely understand how exhausting it can be and I wish her all the best and hope that she starts creating very soon!
All of you know I am in Hawaii and I premade many projects to share with you while I am here. I made 2 projects using Sharon's files for the design team and I want to share those with you today as my farewell projects to Sharon!
First I designed this dispenser box. I have purchased dispenser boxes before, but they were all too small for what I really wanted and was a bit disappointed really. I wanted something larger that would be nice for an office desk candy dispenser or even larger candies. Here is what I came up with. Let me know what you think and I will make it available if you all like it when I get back home.! :) The strawberries and flowers are Sharon's files.
I used the DCWV Nana's Nursery Girl collection for my dispenser box.
Itty Bitty tip- I prefer the DCWV for projects like this because it is more sturdy and lasts longer!
My second project I used Sharon's little rubber ducky file to create a little box to hold some goodies for my grandma. I put bubbles and Lemon heads inside for her because those are both a favorite of hers.
Really is there anyone who doesn't like rubber duckies? They are just too darn cute!
Thank you so much Sharon! :)
Don't forget to tell me whether you like the dispenser or not! :)
Thank you everyone for stopping bye today! Mahalo!

Pumpkin Spice Crate Paper Emmas Shoppe
You want to know the story about this simple little card? Well even if you don't I'm going to tell you! I mean you might be thinking to yourself, jeez Lenae this is really simple.
I bought the Crate Paper Emma's Shoppe line just for this little lollipop. lately I have found that the more simple the project the more I really love it. As much as I admire and LOVE lots of beautiful embellishments I can't seem to create anything like that. Maybe that's why I love it so much? Maybe because I can't do it so I admire it more? All I wanted was to show off that little lollipop so this is what I came up with. I love how it turned out with Lime Twist Twine too! I hope you do to!
I think it is important to do what we love because it always shines through! And just a little side note about loving something, have you seen the new products that Pumpkin Spice just got in? Two words "LAWN FAWN"!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoo! I am so excited I can't wait to get home and play with some Lawn Fawn stamps!
Also the My Minds Eye collections are gorgeous! And of course The Echo Park Apothecary collection which is available in a Pumpkin Spice kit! Pumpkin Spice kits are AWESOME because they come with everything in the kit, but also the three solid colors in the collection for only $12.27 or without the 3 solids for only $9.97! Happy shopping!

I am revisiting a card I made a while ago that my good crafting friend showed me. It's so simple yet so special! It is such a fun card to make and no matter how many times I make it I love it! Here is what you will need!
Echo Park Summer Days collection
Lime Twist Happy Day twine

Scoring tool -I LOVE and can't live without my Martha Stewart Score board.
